Attending college, and the financial burden it presents is a constant challenge for students. Adding medical needs and expenses on top of that can be enough to keep students who are navigating medical issues from attending school. This scholarship in Brooklyne’s memory helps relieve stress and lighten the burden of attending school for Boise State students, like her, who are juggling paying for school and paying for medical expenses.
Brooklyne was born on April 15, 1993, in Boise, Idaho, to Greg and Monica Williams. She graduated from Timberline High School in 2011 and was a member of the Timberline Dance Team, She completed two years of college at Boise State University with honors and was a proud sorority sister of Alpha Gamma Delta. Although Brooklyne was born with major medical problems that continued to be a part of her life, she never let it hold her back. She had strength, courage, and a smile that would light up any room. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in August 2013.
Join us in celebrating what would be Brooklyne's 30th birthday, and honoring the 10-year anniversary of her passing through giving to this scholarship and attending a Silent Auction and Luau Dinner on Brooklyne's birthday!
