Boise State University Organización de Estudiantes Latino-Americanos (OELA) is an on-campus student organization dedicated to promote cultural awareness around the Boise State Campus and increase higher education opportunities within the Latinx student population. Each year, we participate in many activities, and one of them is Project Dream for Tomorrow.
The goal of Project: DFT is to inform prospective students about the great opportunities Boise State has to offer in and out of the classroom. The experience is meant to turn any hesitation students may feel about leaving home into excitement for their future. OELA does this by inviting Boise State colleges/programs, in-state and out-of-state institutions, technical schools, military branches, and local business to participate in a college and career fair.
Students from the Treasure and Magic Valleys will be selected to take part in the two-day event. If you are selected, you’ll be invited to Boise State to learn about campus life, admissions, financial aid, housing, and other campus resources. Students will also have the opportunity to build connections and friendships with OELA members, current students, Boise State faculty, and future classmates.
