Support Our Bronchi
The
Boise State Department of Respiratory Care is a national leader in
Respiratory Care education and is home to three distinct programs. The
on-campus pre-licensure program is designed for students new to the
field and includes hands-on classroom education, laboratory instruction,
and clinical experiences in local hospitals and culminates in a
Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care. Upon completion of this program, students are eligible to sit for the national credentialing exams through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Our Online degree advancement program is
designed to advance associate degree-prepared registered respiratory
therapists (RRT) to the baccalaureate level. This program focuses on
developing the specific skills working therapists need to advance
bedside management and leadership skills. Our online Master of Science
in Respiratory Care degree advancement program is tailored to students
with the objective of advancing their
careers in new or unique roles through a novel blend of advanced bedside
management, education, and leadership skills.
Many
of our students rely on scholarship funds to help offset the cost of
their college education. By giving to our Respiratory Care Alumni and
Friends Scholarship Fund, you have a substantial impact on the lives of
our outstanding respiratory care students and the communities they will
go on to serve.
