The Blue Thunder Marching Band is Los Angeles Bound!
Composed of majors from every corner of campus, the 180 students of Blue Thunder forge memories and friendships that echo beyond graduation while traveling in support of our football team.
Having Blue Thunder at the big game isn't just about connecting over music; it's about bringing heart and unrelenting Bronco spirit to the field every single quarter. It’s about creating a powerhouse atmosphere in the stadium, boosting team morale, and turning every touchdown into a celebration.
Any gift, regardless of size, will offset the costs for the band as they travel to take the Bruins on in the LA Bowl.
Examples of needs for the upcoming LA Bowl:
$50 - one student's round-trip transportation to the LA Bowl
$100 - a game day uniform for one band member
$500 - three hotel rooms for groups of band members (on average 65 rooms are needed for two nights)
$1,000 - game day tickets for 20 band members to attend the game they will perform in
$12,500 - one round-trip bus to travel to LA with the football team (five buses with two drivers each are needed for the full band)
