Help Make Boise State's Windows Bird-Safe!
Every year, millions of birds are affected by window collisions, and Boise State’s Center for the Visual Arts presents an opportunity to implement bird-safe solutions that protect wildlife and enhance conservation efforts. Our student-led project is taking action by installing bird-safe vinyl markers designed to make windows visible to birds while maintaining the building’s aesthetic.
Why it Matters
- Protects Wildlife: Reduces bird-window collisions, particularly during migration seasons.
- Educates & Inspires: Engages students, faculty, and visitors in conservation efforts.
- Creates Lasting Change: Aligns with Boise State’s commitment to sustainability and public art.
