The 2024 Dogs of Boise State Calendar is Here!

By purchasing a 2024 Dogs of Boise State calendar, you are providing Boise State students with free, nourishing food and hygiene items with dignity, respect, and care. The Campus Food Pantry offers a variety of fresh produce, fresh bread, refrigerated items, frozen items, canned and boxed foods, snack options, and personal hygiene products.

In the Spring 2023 semester, the Pantry served over 17,500 student visits! This is a substantial increase in usage, and they expect it to increase even more during the upcoming fall semester.

As the demand for food has grown, so has the Pantry.

Over this past year, the Campus Food Pantry has made drastic changes to increase capacity and continue to meet student needs.

The Pantry team consists of 10 people. Seven part-time student staff to maintain daily operations of the Pantry, one part-time staff delivery driver, as well as two full-time staff members, Emily Hester, to serve as the Business Operations Coordinator and Michelle Cain, to serve as the Student Basic Needs Coordinator for Boise State University. The additional staff dedicated to serving pantry users has increased capacity and allowed their team to accept larger donations, drives, and partnerships.

The Pantry has also purchased two commercial merchandiser refrigerators, two commercial merchandiser freezers, and additional shelving to allow for more food and hygiene storage. These purchases have granted the Pantry an opportunity to participate in the Idaho Foodbank's Food Rescue Program. This program connects local businesses with the Pantry, to accept surplus food and hygiene items that the pantry can then distribute to Boise State students. During the Spring 2023 semester, the Food Rescue Program provided nearly 20,000 pounds of food; many of these donations include fresh produce, pre-made sandwiches and wraps, dairy products, and bread.

By donating, you are supporting our mission, "Every Student. Every Bronco. A Full Plate."
